We are reaping some of the rewards of all our hard work on our garden. I am really enjoying it. That fried zuchinni like Mom use to do is definitely a family favorite in this household. Kim could hardly wait for dinner this last Sunday as that was the main course and one of her favorites. We all enjoyed it.
We are getting ready to go back to school for Sam & Nick and back to work for me. I have enjoyed my summer off with the kids. We have had some fun times but mostly have stayed close to home. The kids are excited to go back to school. I am anxious to get back to work also. The little extra that it gives us makes everyday living a little easier. Our truck is down and may possibily need an engine overhaul so my income will help pay for that. Just when we think we might be able to get ahead something always breaks down. Isn't that the way it always goes. Darn!!! Oh well!!! Everything will work out.
It certainly is interesting to see all the things happening in the world today. With the stock market up and down like a rollercoaster. It is certainly unlike anything I've ever seen before. Some stock that I bought in Walmart when I was working there has lost about 50% of its value. It's almost not even worth the paper its written on anymore. My first ever experience in the stock market and I can also say it will be my last. I'm not to crazy about those rollercoaster rides unless they are at Lagoon.
As for Lagoon, we still want to head that way before school starts if anyone is interested in going with us. We will probably go on a Friday since that is still Grants day off until the end of August and then it could change. Just let us know if your interested in going
