August Newsletter

Katie is doing great!  She is such a busy body that I get tired just watching
her run around with her friends.  They do lots of bike riding her on the road,
and are always finding things to entertain themselves with in the backyard.

Katie is a sweet kid and stands up pretty good to her 3 older brothers who
enjoy teasing her endlessly.  She loves giving talks in church, she loves to
sing and play games.  She just learned to play canasta... her favorite partner
is Trent!  They beat Rachel and I on a regular basis... not bad for a 9 year old!

Katie is looking forward to starting school, she loves learning and we hope to be
able to get her reading like a pro this year!  She won several great gifts during
the summer reading program, and she really enjoys going to the library.  She
has made several new friends this summer & she is anxious for the new
neighbors to move in next door.  Hopefully they will have a child a bit closer
to her age for her to play with.  She is a little mother hen to all of the little
kids in the neighborhood.  She loves her cat cassia!

This is a gift for Katie... since she was born she has
always been my little rose.  Her favorite color is
yellow, and it fits her personality because she is
so sweet and has such a sunny personality.  We
are so very glad that she is such a wonderful part
of our family... This is a graphic that I built on
Paint Shop Pro... I love building graphics and
making fun things like this for those that I love.
